Ms. Inez S. Goode

May 27, 1948 - March 27, 2018

Ms. Inez Stevens Goode was born on May 27,1948. She was the daughter of the late Leroy Stevens, Sr. and Effie Mayfield Stevens. Inez accepted Christ and was a member of Paradise A.M.E. Church. She attended Sims High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1966. Inez was an outgoing sociable person with a warm loving smile. She never met a stranger. She would always stop and talk about how good God was to her. She was a kind-hearted person who would lend a hand to anyone who needed help. She entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Union Medical Center, Union, SC. She was preceded in death by a sister: Wilscena Comer. She leaves to cherish fond memories: Two daughters: Leslie (Bruce) Haywood of Goose Creek, SC, and Janet Goode of Union, SC. One son: James (Rene) Goode of Union, SC. Six grandchildren: Jebrian Newton, Sr., Desmond Haywood, Darius Haywood, Davien Haywood, Caitlin Goode, and Cassidy Goode. One great-grandson: Jebrian (J.J.) Newton, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Divine Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Paradise A.M.E. Church, Union, SC. Ms. Goode will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M to await the hour of service. Sims High School Class of 1966 will serve as flower bearers and pall bearers. Professional arrangements are entrusted to Divine Mortuary, Union, SC.
